"Luxray is a blue-and-black lion-like Pokémon that has red, gold-pupiled eyes. These are specially designed for X-ray vision, which enables this predatory Pokémon to spot hiding prey, even if hidden behind a wall. The manes of female Luxray are about a third the length of their male counterparts.
